Yayas Cheese was born by Sergios and his two sons Constantine and William.
Our family has been making halloumi cheese for generations and one day the light bulb went off. After years of our friends enjoying halloumi with us and not being able to find authentic halloumi in the grocery stores we decided to bring it to Idaho and the rest of the United States.
Our cheese follows a family recipe that has not changed for generations. Our Authentic halloumi is made on the island of Cyprus using goat and sheep's milk with only two added ingredients: mint and salt.
