Yaya’s Cheese provides authentic Cyprus Halloumi
Our Halloumi is made in Cyprus following a recipe that has not changed for generations.
Halloumi is a semi-hard, white, brined cheese made from goat and sheep milk and garnished with mint. It is enjoyed in a variety of ways; it can be sliced and eaten whole, added to salads, and even cooked! Halloumi is a cheese that will not melt which makes it great for frying and, most famously, grilling.
