Yaya’s Halloumi Cheese Burger

  • 1 Package of Yaya’s Halloumi Cheese

  • 1 large tomato

  • Fresh lettuce

  • 1 Cucumber

  • 1 Onion (optional)

  • Burger buns

  • Tzatziki sauce

Directions:

  1. Cut the Halloumi into 1/2 inch slices

  2. Cook the Halloumi slices on the grill or a pan on the stove for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the cheese is light brown or until charred lines appear

  3. Slice the tomato, cucumber, and onion into slices

  4. Cut the the burger buns and toast if desired

  5. Layer the lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, grilled Halloumi, on the bottom bun

  6. Add the Tzatziki sauce on top, add the top bun and enjoy!
